Default Sportster Wheel Change - Brake Disc Question

Hello all. I am changing the front wheel size on my 2006 Sportster from a 21" to a 19". The 19" wheel that I ordered off of ebay did not come with the "disc" for the brakes. Will the "disc" off of my original 21" wheel work on the 19" wheel? Thanks in advance.

If the rotor is the same distance from the center of the hub as it was on the old hub and both hubs have the same rotor bolt pattern the brakes will bolt up exactly like stock. I'm pretty sure you will be fine.

Can you reuse the bolts for the rotor, or are they one time use only like the rear pulley bolts?

Thanks Racing Geek, I appreciate the info. We put the new wheel on this weekend, the rotor fit fine but we had to make a spacer for the left side due to the 21" spoke wheel had a wider hub than the 19" mag. Tightened it all up snug, took it for a 10 mile ride, spacer did not move, everything is good.

Ok, even though everything went well with the changeover, I just realized that the 19" mag had either dual disc or just a single on one side and a plate or cover on the other. My question is, what do i put on the other side, if anything. I only have a single disc on my Sportster? Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions. Could I make a "plate" and cover or can I purchase one somewhere? Thanks in advance.
