Michelin Comander II tire opinions

I just got off the phone with the Harley dealer,he was making the same claim.......2x the life of my Dunlop Elite touring rubber.I've got 16,000 miles on them, and plenty of tread left.I'd go for the Michelins, but I'm doubting the claim, nobody has had them long enough to verify or deny the mileage.......but 30,000 miles does sound good.

Just ordered the Commander II rear tire today, had the 1st editions on my Heritage and 9k on the rear tire and 15k (maybe 2-3k left) on the front and almost totally shot. Hoping for more mileage, went to a metlzer on the rear and can only hope to get 8k out of it(only 5k in, but is more then 1/2 gone), it has performed well, but going to give Michelin another shot

got my new commander II's mounted today...i will say they definately are easier to get the bead to seat.the first commanders were a bear to get the bead to seat ..unfortunately i cant ride yet cuz i dont have the rest of the bike ready..but they do look good .lol..im anxious to see if they are as good as the first run.the tread design has been changed to more of a sport tire ..i guess..lookin forward to tryin these out on the dragon

OK! Tires mounted. Rode about 25 miles. Noticeable difference from the factory Dunlops. Very smooth & seem to have more grip. But I didn't get too rowdy.....wanna wear off the nubs first.
Rear is made in Spain....couldn't make out the front. Will check tomorrow in better light conditions.
First impression......it's a WINNER!
