Doug,
Thinking about it, do check at a Harley dealer, just to find if you can use them to rebuild your wheels. They must be doing something clever to make them air-tight and you want to be able to do that again with those rims!
Further thought, are you talking just rims, or complete wheels with those rims already fitted?

I asked OP if he meant his 'rims' were actually wheels, or loose rims he plans to build onto a set of hubs.

Buy Harley spokes still require a tube. Unless he found an outer hoop from a BMW GS that he can lace to a Harley hub, an aluminum wheel is the only option. Price out those GS wheels and you will see how pricey they are. Doesn't seem like a logical choice. I doubt the HD dealer knows a magic trick either. You would have to rubberized and seal the inside of the rim which would play hell on the balance.

Sorry to get off track. If the wheels are the same size, they should work. Just make sure the axle ans bearings are the same size. You may have to plat around with spacers. Some guys with my year have put a Softail Deuce rear wheel on there Dyna's no problem. Outside of the bearing issues for different years, the only factor is the hub width. You should be able to measure yours and just check with the seller on what he has. I think all of the newer bikes after 2006-07 all use the same bearings. Depending on the model is when they switched over to the latest size.

Here's an article about how to seal a spiked rim for tubeless applications. It seems like they would charge a pretty penny, but if you are set on spokes and tubeless, it could be worth it. And BMW uses the nipple at the hub. It's a pain in the *** to true and BMW dealers won't work on them. They say you have to replace the wheel. There are some specialists that will do it, but they charge minimum of $200 to just true it. Also the hub wouldn't fit a Harley. Gbrown, I didn't mean to insult you, you just didn't provide any info on your post to sound like anything with some intelligence to back it. Here's the link for the sealer.
