Default rear axle position

Just had to pull the rear wheel on my 06 Softail Standard. I had to remove the exhaust to remove the rear axle. After repairing the problem I reinstalled the axle from the pulley side instead of the rotor side. Essentially I installed it backwards so next time I won't have to remove the exhaust to pull the wheel. Can anyone tell me if they think this will be a problem? I can't think of any reason but it seems to be to easy a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think it makes a difference ...should've been done that way from the start ..only thing that make a difference is that some axle covers don't work back ..
