Default Street Glide change from 16 to 18 front wheel questions

Can't seem to get a straight answer from the dealerships...I have the stock 16 inch front with abs on my sg and want to get the 2011 front wheel to have a nicer look. Here are my questions

I found a local wheel from 2011 with NON ABS system. What are the differences between the two? I assume the wheel is no different (other than size) but the differences come in my rotors? or something else I need to consider?

Are the rotors the same for non abs and abs?

axle the same?

spacers the same?

I have to believe someone out there can throw some good intel my way, thanks!!!

The bearings are the difference.

If you have metric bearings in your current wheel you could swap them over to the other wheel, as long as you carefully use a puller. I don't know how they do it, but Harley uses the bearings to trigger the ABS. The alternative is to have new ABS bearings installed in the new wheel, or find an ABS wheel in the style you want!

I suggest you post a new question for that query. My understanding is the 2009 bikes have a wider rear fender than your 2003 bike, because the newer rear tyre is so much wider. So even if the swingarm will fit you will need a fender as well. It doesn't sound very easy to do!

It's worth taking a look over in Touring. If anyone has done it there will be someone who can answer your question!
