I want to put the rear spoke that came on the Softail Custom that matches the spoke on the front of my 06 Night Train. Problem is the axle size is different and wheel is a little different. They both are 200 back tire wheels. Has any one attempted to do this? HD calls it the Profile Lace Spoke wheel. Not sure if it just needs some custom spacers needed to make it work or what I don't know. I want to use the HD wheel because it will match exactly and I don't have to buy an expensive after market wheel that won't match.

Any help would be great.

I was having the dealer install a '08 200width wheel from a Fxstc on my '07 which is also 200width. Same problem with the axles, mine was 3/4" and the '08 wheel was 25mm so I picked up the bearing/axle kit hoping to have it changed out. After the dealer had the tire and bearings installed on the newer wheel it did not fit. So they had to take the new tire off and install it on the old wheel. Needless to say I had to pay for the extra labour.

So it turns out an'08 and newer wheel don't fit an '06-07. I believe the width of the wheel is different.
