Default Valve stems won't permit Dynabead installation

I attempted to install Dynabeads in my FXD today without success. I removed the valve core, however there seems to be something metallic still inside the base of the valve stem which stops the dynabeads from entering the tire. I reinstalled the vale core, filled the tire with air, then removed the valve core again, only to find this metallic obstruction still there. This is the first time I've ever removed a valve core which didn't leave the valve stem "hollow". Has anyone else experienced this type of valve stem? Does this mean my only option is to break the tire bead to install the dynabeads?

They don't want to go in, they clog up the valve stem. See this post for a couple of tips:

IF you do not put Dyna Beads in slowly they will clog any valve stem. What I do is put them in the bottle and put the hose on the valve stem. Turn the bottle upside down and gently tap the hose so they go in. Some people use a dremel to vibrate them in easier.

I trickled them through the hose into the valve stem almost one or two beads at a time AND used my dremel tool hoping to vibrate them inside the tire without success. The problems isn't the technique used to install the dynabeads, it's the valve stem itself. As I said, the stem appears to have a metallic obstruction limiting the diameter of the inlet where the air passes through the stem. This limitation will not permit dynabeads to pass though the stem. Am I the only one who has these type of valve stems? I'm beginning to think my only option is to break the tire bead and install the beads that way, something that's not "easy installation" or "convenient".

Did you take out the valve stem core? You need to do this so they will go into the wheel.
