Question Dyna Beads & Replacing Wheel Bearings

Hey Guys (Newbie Still Here)

Got my new Metzeler Tires today. Now being that I got the wheels of my: 1985 Electra Glide Classic with 44000 miles on it.

I figured I'd replaced the bearings; Problems is I don't know where or how to just to do it

Do I really have to replace 'em with only 44000 mile on the bike

Also do any you guys ever heard or used: DYAN BEADS

The Harley Dealership showed me these very tiny white porcilean beads about an ounces fill in a clear plastic bag. And said," You don't have to have your wheels balance with these. It replaces the dull lead weight on you wheel.

All you do when you buy new tires is put about one ounce in the tires you got.
For new tires just pour/put the beads into the tire and mount 'em on your rims.

For tires that on your bike allready; just take out the air valve let the tire loose its air and then pour the beans in with the applicator."

He telsl me the guys can feel a different balance ride and tires last a bit longer

Any you guys have these DYNA BEADS in your tires

Have Dynabeads in the bike for the first time and it is not snake oil...it made the bike smooth as silk on the highway....Bearings??? they can go bad i guess at 44k...My indy has checked them at all 8 or 9 tire changes and always said the seem solid and smooth operating....So there was no need to change them...as long as they get checked...If they get loose or they seem gritty or bind a bit when you turn them then it's a no brainer but changing them isn't a bad thing either.

Thumbs up Dyna beads it is . . .

Hey Fattyboyy

Thanks 4 the heads-up on the DYNA BEADS.

It seems I've been out of the loop of riding for a while.

Science is wild and what its doing for us riders.

I'm off the the dealership to get some of those
magical beads.

P.S. How much did you put in the front and rear tires?
