Default Front brakes on 11 ultra limited

I just picked up my new ultra limited and when I rode home I noticed the front brakes seemed very mushy. On my 08 heritage that I had, the front brakes were pretty firm. I have never had a bike with abs so I am not sure if this is normal. The rear brakes feel right. The front you have to pull the lever a good bit before the brakes start to engage. Is this normal or am I just paranoid? Thanks.

I haven't ridden an ABS Harley, but had an ABS BMW for many years. They are mushy! I suggest you pop over to the Touring forum and take a look in there. You'll find ABS gets covered every now and then, also worth using 'search'.

Something wrong...ABS brakes are not mushy. I have them on a 09 UC and never did they feel soft or, as you describe, mushy.

Probably not bled correctly at the dealership. Could be that there is still air in your brake line.

Guess I will try and bleed them this weekend. It should be easy enough.
