Default Chrome 9 spokes & wheel bearing

I picked up a set of chrome 9 spoke wheels for my 2003 electra glide classic. These are wheels that have been re-chromed. I'm getting ready to install bearings and thought I would check the bore in the wheels before I did. It appears the bore is about .0015 smaller towards the outside versus the bottom. Not sure if they got some chrome in there or what. Does anyone know how much press there should be between the bearing and the wheel? From the measurement at the bottom of the bore to the bearing diameter looks like about .005 difference. I want to make sure this isn't a problem before I install the bearings.

The wheel is kinda' cupped where the bearing presses in. There is a spacer between the 2 bearings that rides on the axle. The outer and inner races are the only parts of the bearing that make contact. Can't really picture what you are describing, but hope this helps. Got my bearing puller at pitposse.com for half what other sites were asking for one.
