Question Clicking from the rear wheel.

On My last 3 rides I have noticed a clicking coming from the rear wheel area. It kind of sounds like cards on spokes. I have a 07 FXSTC with a solid rear wheel. While I was looking it over I kicked my rear rotor and it made a tinging sound like it was cracked. I re torqued the rotor and it still makes the noise. I can not see a visible crack. Ideas?

have you checked your belt tension or axle nut? When does the clicking occur? Under acceleration? Deceleration? Does it come from the right or left side of the bike?

Default Clicking from rear wheel

I Just had my bike serviced and was on my way home (50 miles) about half way I had a noise similar to what you described, pulled over took a good look at things a discovered the rear brake pads were down to nothing.Made it home and changed the pads myself noise gone. I also hit on the rotor and had the tinging noise, it was the pads moving around a little.

I ride a 2009 Ultra Classic every day, being in a car makes me nervous.
