I just put a HHI 6-piston caliper (basically the same an a PM) and floating rotor on the front of my 2007 Softail Custom.
The instructions included from HHI say to allow 250 miles of city riding to allow the new pads to bed. However, after 50 miles, I can say that I'm not thrilled with my present stopping power. Will this improve over time?
Additionally, the front brake seems to be dragging a bit. When I raise the front wheel and give a firm hand-spin, I only get a little over 1 revolution per spin.
My caliper is centered perfectly on the rotor, brake is bled correctly.
How many revolutions should I be getting?
Thanks
