I have an 10 Street Glide and really like the chrome Agitator wheels. The install sheet says the wheels do not fit a Street Glide. The CVO Street Glide has the black and chrome Agitator wheels stock. Does anyone know why the chrome Agitator wheels do not fit the Street Glide? Trying to figure out what the difference would be.

 

They fit. I've seen it on another guy's FLHX here. The thing is HD says not to run the full chrome ones on batwing bikes. Only run on FLTRX. Beats the hell out of me what legitimate reason there is. Supposedly they are heavier or something. I'm doubting enough to really matter, but what do I know.

 

Hate to bring back an old thread, but I al thinking of the chrome agitators for my 2010 flhx. I didn't realize there was an issue. Does anyone have any insight?

 

From my research the chrome wheels weight more and are not recommended for the Street Glides. That is what I was told anyway. I have seen the wheels on a lot of bikes, so they do fit. I decided on the Air Strike wheels because the stock tires and brake rotors fit. The agitators have odd ball size rear tires and the brake rotors are unique 7 bolt pattern.
