I was thinkn of making copper brake lines as it would offset the denim black and blacked out components. Any thoughts? Anyone try this or know someone who has?
Like RickB said, I don't think the copper would handle the pressure. I like the idea that you are going for. I would think about using stainless brake line and having it copper plated. Look up Caswell Plating on the web for home plating supplies.
I also agree that I don't think copper will stand the pressure. I would also say that copper won't handle the vibration very well and may crack from it.
Copper will handle the pressure ok, but since it's soft it will continue to leak at fittings since it's soft and vibrations will compress it , loosening the fit. Constant tightening will be needed. Go with time proven steel and you won't have any problems.

What about flaring the fitting ends and applying a sleeve behind the flare just like on aircraft? I know that this may seem like I dont want to accept that this is not a good idea...just picking y'alls brains and probably annoying the cr^p outta someone

Maybe a new idea......the metal conduit used on headlight assemblies for hot rods like early fords....just have to find some type of ferrel to use on the ends I guess to cover steel braid hose (dont want regular steel braided lines......everyone has it lol)
