The forks have been Japanise for 40 years. Showa. My 73 Superglide said so.
Went to buy a oil filter for 06 Dodge diease pickup. One they had in the store said , Made in Tiwan.
I asked them to order me a WIX filter. Got it, said ,Made in China.
Go figure.
