Default 18 inch front wheel?

Building a custom bagger from an 05 Road King Police. I want to put an 18 inch wheel up front and use only one rotor and caliper. Anyone done this?

Going to a single front brake is not an issue per say. It it is really not that safe to run the single unless you upgrade to a better front brake too. The weight of the FLH line is too great for a single 4-piston caliper on a stock sized 11.5-inch rotor. Option #1 is to go to a 6-piston caliper and good pads on the stock 11.5-inch rotor. Best option #2 is to go a 6-piston caliper on a 13-inch rotor. It has been done plenty of times so don't be shy.
