installing aftermarket wheels
I just installed pm wheels on my 05 fatboy. everything other than the rear fender apear to line up. I have a quarter inch difference in gap between the inside of the fender and the tire. with the tire looking like its more towards the drive side. any suggestions?

Going on the statement you made about everything else linig up, As long as the drive belt lines up and the brake disc is not rubbing then you will be okay. You will probably be the only one to notice. But then again if you are like me, you will notice it constantly. You can try different spacers between the fender and struts or sometimes you can loosen the struts from the frame and fanagle the fender to look better. The important thing though is the alignment of the belt and disc.

Thx for the advice.

As long as you are 100% sure your rear wheel is centered and the belt and brakes are zeroed, then you are good. As far as the rear fender being slightly askew, you did not say what size wheel and tire you are running. Was this a wide tire conversion with aftermarket struts or is this just a stock wheel replacement? I am running 18-inch wheels and the rear tire is a 160mm under the stock fender in the stock swingarm with the factory struts. The rear fender is entirely unmovable and sits closer to the tire on the left side but does not touch. My wheel, brake, and belt are all zeroed. Slightly askew fender? Well, that is courtesy of HD.
