Ordered a set yesterday... should be on the Train by Friday~ I'll let ya'll know how they run and how long they last me~ I'm pretty much a cruiser, with bits of aggresive riding mixed in~ I do tend to lean, more then stear, in corners~ So I expect to get anywhere from 8-10k out of them~ Only time will tell...

Well, I just got the Night Dragons put on the motor yesterday. Rode home in a bit of rain, but only about thirty miles, and rode real easy because of the fresh rubber. Today I rode about 100 miles through rural Kentucky and I'm impressed. For those who've never ridden in Kentucky, straight roads here are call Interstates, everything else is fairly curving and twisty. You can really lean this thing now, and it grips really well. Even in the gas station lot during low speed maneuvers you can feel the difference in the grip. I've yet to ride on groved pavement and I can't comment on the longevity, but I think I've made the right decision for now.

Default Tires

I too put a set of the Pirrelli Night Dragon's on my scoot and have logged close to 700 miles since that time with no problems. The tires do hug the road at both high and low speeds. I haven't been in the rain yet, but i normally don't ride in the rain.

I believe that I have made the right choice for tires at least for the next 7-9 thousand miles...

Still lovin mine... although they have not hit the pavement in the past couple months too much. The wear isn't even noticable as of yet. Did get a chance to run through some twisties.. and they stuck right to the road... even when scraping peg on some of the tighter corners. Like Rbshd06, I've yet to test them on wet roads, but I have complete faith in my Pirelli ruber.

That's probably because you didn't run them with enough air - Avon recommend higher pressures than stock.

Just a follow-up on the tires...I have since logged around 3000 miles and am very pleased with the tires. They handle great both dry and wet and i have not noticed much wear and tear from front or rear...

So far it's thumbs up!!!

Getting a set of the Dragons put on the King tomorrow. The extra grip in the twisties will make up for the loss in KM as far as I can see but only time will tell.

Road King Custom- $25,000
Modifications- $20,000
Night Dragon- $500

Keeping the rubber side down in the twisties- Priceless

Chop.
