Default Balance beads

With Balance beads or the ride on sealant/balancer liquid does the bike have to be lifted off the ground to get the product into the tires?

Or simply leave bike on kickstand and deflate the tires and install?

Thanks guys

I lifted mine up with a jack. Both of them worked as advertised.

I didnt lift mine, takes a little while to get the beads in with that bottle, squeeze/release method works.

Do you deflate the tire all the way before pulling the valve core?

I noticed some of the kits come with new valve cores, but the one you take out can just be screwed back in right?

Thanks guys

That's a good idea, didn't know it existed - thanks.

I wonder if they've made a similar torsional vibration damper for the engine to replace the clunky mechanical compensator ramp and clutch system? Even the biggest diesel engines with huge torsional firing pulses use torsional vibration dampers with silicone fluid. Different machine element, but same problem (torsional imbalance vibration).

For informational purposes, Harley, in the owners manual, states, do not use balance beads, or the like in wheels with TPMS sensors.

That's interesting - what do they do on other vehicles with TPMS that don't get balance weights like big trucks?

I am getting ready to puchase some Centramatic wheel balancers for my RAM 3500 dually. Folks are claiming additional mileage on the dual rear tires using these balancers. I am getting ready to spend about $2000 on tires, so hoping to get more than 35000 miles on the next set.
