Question Battlecruise H50?

Hello, I asked this question on another thread somewhere but did not get an answer, so here it is:

Has anyone tried the Bridgestone Battlecruise H50 tires on their touring model?
https://www.denniskirk.com/bridgesto...5451&rs=545454

Here is a video that Bridgestone put out, I live in central Florida so this makes sense to me!

Thanks!

I can't offer experience from bagger side but my street glide is due for tires soon and I'm gonna be sure to ask my indy about these when I call him
I did have these on my 2010 fat boy lo and similar to the video where they stated it needed less control input was exactly my experience. I don't know about longevity as I had them on for maybe 7k miles or so before selling that bike but they definitely weren't going to need to be changed at 10k or anything like that.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I was impressed enough with them on my softail that I will be seriously considering them for my SG.

Thanks, These will be going on an '18 Street Glide Special. So far what I have seen or read was they are great, but can be a little "slippery" in wet conditions. I try not to ride in rain unless I have to. My other major concern is longevity, I have 19k on the original D407. From what has been said, that is exceptional for a rear D407!

Can't speak to rain. I prob only got stuck in the rain once with those tires.

Good luck and let us know what you think after install!

I have some on my Dyna, and they feel great. They stick well, and aren't bothered by expansion joints, grooves, or tar snakes. I don't know how long they last yet, and the rain, what rain?

Well, I FINALLY got both tires installed and rode about 100 miles today. So far, so good! Feel soft and agile. Reset trip B on the odometer to clock the miles. Probably not going to get what I was able to establish with the stock harley tire, 18k.
I will add to this every now and again. Planning a long haul trip in March to ride the Nachez Trace Parkway, stay tunes...

We used to call them Bridgerocks, got wet and you had no grip and even with drum brakes you could slide them dry.

I rode one set, won't be riding another. Living in a rain forest, these tires are sketchy in the wet. Unlike what another member said, I found they wandered on paint and tar snakes.

Here's a vid of them making my bike shake crossing large painted lines on a turn.

Now that I have ridden 3500+ miles on these tires with two days of nothing but rain on a long trip, I really like them. Grip is great and a smooth ride. Only once on a wet rode did the rear slip because I gave a little too much gas when starting. Now to see how many miles i can get out of them. My original H-D Dunlops I was able to get 25K.

How on earth do you get 25,000 miles out of a set of tires?
