Default Performance Machine Rotors on Stock Wheels

Does anybody know, if you can fit counter-bored Performance Machine or Roland Sands brake rotors on stock Harley wheels? I would like a matching rotor to my pulley but don’t want to waste the money on the rotor if it won’t fit. I called Performance Machine and they said they know some guys do it but don’t know how. If the bolt pattern is the same, couldn’t you just use a thin pulley spacer or hub spacer to fill in the counter-bored area? This would be a rear rotor on a 2011 Softail.

IF I`m reading you correctly; ( big if)
the stock rotor has a flat surface where the bolt head sits
the aftermarket rotors have a counterbored ( not countersunk ! ) recess for the bolt head
You would need to know the the dimensions of the counterbore to proceed
A: the recess is large enough to accept the stock bolt head, if the threaded hole in wheel is "through" you`re golden
If the hole is blind you might have to shorten or replace the bolts
B Stock bolts won`t fit in recess, source either different bolts or the proper mil-spec washers to fill the recess from McMaster Carr ( they show dimensions of offered pieces)

No, the counterbore that I’m referring to is not the bolt heads. The entire area on the back of the rotor is counter board the width of the hub, about 4 inches in diameter. This is exclusive on performance machine and Roland sands brake rotors. This has nothing to do with the bolts or the countersunk heads of the bolts.

My question is, could you put a spacer in this area on the back of the rotor to make it fit flat against the OEM hub. And would the rotor Be aligned correctly?

Do you "know" that the O.E.hub O.D. is greater than the 4" recess ?

no apologies needed at all… I appreciate the interest… Just trying to figure out the issue with these rotors. The problem if the hub is wider than the recess is that when you tighten the rotor bolts it will flex the brake rotor causes things to rub and be out of alignment. I read that in someone else’s post. My question was just, could you put a pulley spacer in that recessed area bolt it to the hub and would things line up properly?
