The mileage one gets on a tire depends on many factors, like weight/load, road composition, weather, riding style, how much tread is left when replaced, etc.
The mileage I received on the last (5) rear tires I replaced on my Ultra was: (23,295), (29,551), (29,151), (25,561), (21,568)
All tires were Dunlop American Elites.
YMMV - Your Mileage May Vary

Here's a picture of the last rear tire I had changed at 21,568 miles.

Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the tire before taking it in. I did notice that there was tread above the wear bars but did not measure to see how much depth was left. I am going on a X country trip this summer, and the dealer stated they wanted/needed some service work, so instead of waiting until a week before departure on my trip in June, I decided to get it done before the riding season started. Sorry

Holy mother of Bart Simpson, that’s great mileage out of a tire...on a Harley-Davidson...

All I can say is I have never run a tire that low. I liked how you did your tire mileage, so I went back to my records and here are mine.

Rear tires: 15,253 miles (nail damage), 24,443 miles ($411 to replace), 28,242 miles (nail damage)
Front tires: 24,465 miles ($284 to replace), 22,008 miles ($310 to replace), and currently have over 21,465 miles on front tire.

After looking at how many miles I have on my front tire, I went to the basement and just now measured the tread depth.at just one spot on the front, and got 4/32", so in retrospect, I probably should have had both tires replaced. Another perspective is that out of the last 5 tires replaced, two were under the road hazard warranty, three and soon to be four were/will be paid by me.

My tires are Dunlops, I don't jackrabbit off the line,

May I ask how many miles do you get on your tires? Are they Dunlops?

Well, I no longer pay attention to actual mileage but, close is about 10-12k front 14-16k rear. I do ride the twisties of NC, Tenn, KY a time or 2 a year. And I run Avons for that very reason...I find Avons are far superior to any tire I have tried in the twisties. They grip like no other. The Dunlops are a good flat lander tire.
Where and how one rides makes a bigger difference than I thought.
