Default Reinstall front tire

Going to replace my rim . My front tires still in good shape, so can I remove the tire from the rim replace the rim then use the same tire to put back on the wheel.

Why not , as long as the new rim is the same size and width , I don't see a problem . You may have to get it balanced , every rim will have a different weight placement , but it won't be much . Make sure you mount the tire in the correct direction , and if you need a new valve stem . now's the time to do it .

Yep ... Be careful with the bead surface where it seals and follow the advice above and you'll be good to go

....and use generous amounts of rubber lube. It will help keep from tearing up the bead.

I’m a little slow today. Looked at the title and thought it was a new brand of tire!

Carry on

My front wheel had a small crack and air leak about 2,000 miles after I put a new Commander II on it. No way I was going to just throw away a brand new tire. I took my new wheel and the old wheel/tire to an independent shop I use and they swapped the tire over.
