i recently purchased this bike its pretty clean but the chrome is starting to lift on the front wheel its lifting off the rim looks like its bubbling up? i want to replace the wheel but they have a strange shape to them they kind of taper from the rim up to the spoke nipples? ive never seen such a wheel. ive been checking out wheels on ebay etc and they all have a raised section where the spoke nipples protrude from the rim where these wheels taper to that point? the bike is bone stock not even re jetted so im sure they are factory wheels. is anyone familiar with these wheels and does anyone know where i could pick up a used front wheel of this configuration i dont really want to replace both wheels. if need be ill see if i can get a decent picture of them showing the shape.

 

You have Harley Profile spoke wheels on your bike, you can change them to the more common drop-center spoke wheels if you like...

 

Thankk you very much i had never seen this profile or never really noticed them. but just minutes ago a found a set removed from an 09 HD when new for sale on craigslist im going to see if i cant pick them up for a decent price.
