Default 18" wheel help!

Hello all. I have a 1998 heritage softail classic. I want go with a 18x5.5 rear wheel and a 140mm tire. Will I have any clearance issues with belt, pulley etc..? Any info is greatly appreciated!!

There is something to think of there, which is that a 5.5" rim is much too wide for a 140mm tyre, a 3.5" wide rim would be more suitable. A 5.5" wide rim takes a much wider tyre, such as 180mm. Your rear fender may actually be narrower than that, so a 180 won't fit.

If your bike has a 1 1/2" wide belt you may get a 140 tyre in, possibly a 150, but not any more than that IMHO. To go wider is likely to need a wider swingarm and fender.
