Default Rim advice

I am in the market for a new rim after bending my front rim hitting a pot hole on my 2015 Wide Glide. I have no spoke damage just bent the outer ring. Who sells a good replacement rim for the wide glide and is it best to order as a full assembly or purchase the outer rim and relace with all my stuff? I called Harley and they do not sell just the outer ring by itself.

Thanks

Looking at this site: http://www.paughco.com/2008-catalog/...20Paughco.html

All the assemblies state they only work with up to 1999 wide glides so could I order just the 40 spoke 21" x 2.15" rim and lace with my spindles and hub?

Looks like the Honda needs some love too.

1999-earlier used Tapered wheel bearings, yours is a Sealed Ball bearing

Yes, the only possible "sticking point" would be that "drop center" portion of the new rim needs to be close in dimension to your original to facilitate re-using your spokes

Haha, Good eye. Yes, that one is on the to do list still. I have a few little Honda three wheelers I tinker with on my spare time.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered a new replacement rim from Harley on Wednesday only to get a call this morning for them to let me know they were refunding my order since they just found out the rim is on backorder from Harley and they don't have an anticipated date on when they will be available.

Judging from the pics, is this rim unsafe to ride on? Bike has no signs of the rim damage when riding. I rode the bike home this way after hitting the pot hole and out to dinner that night before noticing the damage the next day. Bike had no shake to it at any speeds and the other side of the rim is less noticeable than the side I showed in the pic. No spokes are loose.

Check flea-bay for some rims or complete wheel assemblies... that's how I got my rear rim and tire.

Picked up a new rim on Friday. Slapping it on this week and I am finally back in business.
