Welcome from the Hills Of East Tennessee!!
In 1972-73,I was in the Air Force and stationed at a small Early warning Radar Site in "Port Austin" ,MI.Had a friend who had been in the Air Force ,He'd served his time, gotten out and went to work for the base, his name was "Chet" and he had an early Harley Panhead, I'll never forget that! He was always working on that Pan! Imagine that! LOL!
Some days I wonder what ever happened to him, he was originally from Kentucky but had married a local girl while stationed there and he stayed.Oh well.....Alzheimers kicking in now!!
I Loved the area in the Summer!!, Winter?? WOW!!....Yep, I drank a LOT, there was a nearby village named "Bad Axe" never forget it....had a lot of Bars there LOL!!
Ok, Ill stop rambling now! Sorry if I bored ya to tears!
