RE: new member from masachusetts
Welcome to the forums from the Arizona Highlands. Very nice intro. I too, after undergoing radiation treatment for the big C last December, asked myself, "Self, is there anything you've been putting off?"

Thanks to all for the welcome messages. Getting some pics from my daughter to upload. Added a quick avatar pick, but better ones to come. Beautiful late summer weather in Massachsuetts, so I was kind a busy putting another 200 miles on the Street Glide this weekend.
So far so good. I solved the windshield problem by swapping out the little deflector for a 12" screen. Took a bit of getting used to looking thru, but it solves the buffeting issue.
Thanks,
mike

Hi there and welcome, great place, good info and good people. I'm in Berkley MA (5 minutes from Taunton, 30 from Providence, and 40 from Boston minus any traffic. Where are you hailing from in MA?

Hi Joe -
I'm in Canton, just up the road. Actually on the rte 24 side of town.
You live one of the best areas of Eastern MA for good back road riding. I've been thru on 138 and 140 a few times. Day trips to Newport are one of my favorites. Ping me off line of you want hook up before the sno flies.

Kess - I agree with you. They really are out to kill you here.
On Saturday my local dealer, Monty's in West Bridgewater was having an open house and tent sale. I was in the tent about noon, and heard a skid. Sure enough, guy on bike got hit by a car. Right in front of the Cop directing traffic into the dealer's parking lot. His passenger was o.k. but the girls a the dealership tell me the rider broke his leg.
Wouldn't have believed it unless I was there.

Hey Shark,
I'm a big fan of Monty's great place never have had a problem there with anything returns etc... They sell bikes for MSRP, and have some of the lowest labor rates by far around. Just wish I would have bought my Ultra from them.
