New old guy
I guess I'm supposed to introduce myself, so here I am. I live in what I call the outback of Kansas, and recently got stupid enough to place a bid on a stripped repo Sportster at auction, and naturally, when you do something on the spur of the moment like that, I won. It's a 2004 883xl, and needs a little work, but it's going well. Long time ago since I used to ride, in my teens, I'm now 60, but I find myself tempted again, even though the original plan was to fix it and sell it. Time will tell. Anyway, while researching another problem, I saw a guy on here had a problem I had just researched a solution to, and found, and I registered mostly to be able to give him a heads up on that. Thanks. I'm sure, after browsing around here, that I will learn a lot from you guys that didn't take a 40 year hiatus from riding. Jeeze, I have to go to classes in this state, even to get a license again, lol.
