Hi, my name is Joshua and i own a 2007 Sportster 1200 Custom. Its the first motorcycle I have owned and it treats me alright. It does have its issues, but I'll post them in the right places. My interests in motorcycles started when I stated tinkering on my mom's 70's Yamaha DT100 Enduro. Hadn't run in 13 years and was thrilled with riding it. So I went out looking for a road bike. Didnt think i could afford a Harley so I started looking at a little Honda Rebel, then a Suzuki S40 at the local HD shop. So after the salesman got off the phone with the bank trying to get me financing for the Suzu, he walks over "...Couldn't get financing for the Suzu, but you see that Sportster over there?" So I, like a kid in the candy shop, pulled strings and got money/insurance/etc for the down payment and rode off the lot with my bike. So here I am now.
