Goodbye kids, hello Breakout
Kids are finally out of the house so I pulled the trigger. I found a '13 Breakout with 250 miles, 18 mos warranty left and 3 grand less than a new one. This is my first bike in 25 years and more importantly my first HD. Weathers been pretty crappy but I have been out 6-7 times and have put almost 300 miles on the bike in the last 3 weeks or so. Low speed handling and grinding the pegs on some corners have taken a little getting used to but all good so far.
Ordering Pipes, air and tuner this week. Nothing unusual...VH BR 2-2, SE Heavy Breather and super tuner. Pretty std stuff for the Breakout it seems but I'm ok with that as I like the style and really like the sound.
Kutter's seems hard to beat for SE hardware. Little better shipping deal than surdykes. Am I missing anywhere else? Thanks, Tim
