I've been waiting a while to say hello for about a year and a half. Wanted to make sure I didn't kill myself first. At 61 and have never ridden before(except about 50 miles on some little import thingee, 40 years ago), I went out and bought myself a Softail Standard. I'd just survived cancer, been laid off and my wife said go for it. It's something I'd always wanted, so I took the MSF course and didn't think at this age I have time to work my way up from a something small. Besides I didn't just want a motorcycle, I wanted a Harley. I've got a little over 5,000 miles and haven't done anything too stupid yet!Having more fun every ride!
