Long time rider, first Harley tho
Hello Everybody,
I should have done this sooner, I've been lurking for a couple months.
I've been riding for 40 years, everything from 90-1900cc except a Harley.
Back in the day, I was one of those Punks that you'd see racing around on the streets with a Yamaha RD or a Kawasaki triple, the Harley guy's didn't like us and we didn't like them. I switched to cruzer bikes about 12 years ago 'cause sport bikes had gotten stupid fast. After having 4 Roadstars and a Roadliner I bought a 2005 RK custom in October.
I've only had a chance to ride it about half a mile, and now it sits until spring. I hope this opens up a new chapter in my riding, maybe I'll be one of those guy's that never knew what was missing.

Welcome aboard and yep, you've definitely opened a new chapter. But at the risk of heresy, Harley's are still just one other means of leaning into the wind. Although, one of the very best means. Congratulations and enjoy.
