New Rider from Milwaukee!
Hi all! I got ditched out of the blue by my girlfriend of 3 years. I was a couple months from buying an engagement ring, but it miraculously turned into a Harley instead!
Bought my bike used 2 weeks ago this Thursday. Took my Rider's Edge course over the weekend (5 days) and passed tonight. Good riddance to the Buell Blast, looked like a monkey humping a football on it, but I learned a lot.
Headed to the DMV tomorrow to get my license. I'm excited to be a part of the family. I always wanted to get a bike and I seized the opportunity. I have a 96 Dyna Wide Glide with 22K miles and lots of upgrades. I brought along two 40+ year Harley vets for their blessing. Sounds like I got a great deal.
Looking forward to easing into this and practice, practice, practice.
