new to here..from as far south as you can get in Canada
My wife and I decided to splurge for our 15th anniversary....I rode home a 2006 Electraglide classic yesterday, and we will be picking up her 2008 Deluxe in a few days after some "lowering" modifications for her 4'11 vertically challenged 27" inseem. this all started two years ago with her "I want to get my motorcycle licence" statement, to the two of us writing the test (days after buying a suzuki 250 to practice on) and taking the instructors course at the local college...2 weeks later we picked up a v-star 650 of which i became comfortable with after a few days. she continued on the 250 until I found a nice 1100 vstar classic, when we sold our 250 and the wife took over the 650.
we have spent from the fall of 2011 until this season doing plenty of riding (about 35000 km) with a road trip to PA, over to western MI this year as well as PA and WV again this summer, as well as a few trips to the Muskoka area north of Toronto. Our miles on the road and enjoying days travelling brought us to bigger motors with better touring and comfort riding, looking forward to many miles together with one regret.....why did we wait so damn long?
