New girl from CA
Hey brothers and sisters,
I'm a new rider (300miles) and new to the forum! Been riding on the back for years but when we joined the local HOG chapter I saw these women all about my age (51 young) riding and I decided that I could do it. As a beginner it took awhile to get up on my Sporty but here I am and wondering why I didn't do it sooner.
Be kind to yourself and ride on!

Welcome to the community! Great to hear that you are getting up and riding your own bike. I know plenty of women who are like you and are sporting their own HD. Safe riding to you, and if you haven't already done it, get in some BRC2 and advanced rider classes. Saved my *** a couple of times.
Looking forward to seeing you around the forums.

congrats from Farmington,Ca. good advice from Jay take a course or at least take a look at a good video like Ride Like A Pro 4. it teaches some very useful (TECHNIQUES) used by motor officers. We all think we have years of experience, but some riders just make the same mistakes year after year.
