Close, real close! Seems to be what everyone wants to do first and I understand why.. they don't sound so good stock. It was going to be do I really need a tuner and air to upgrade my exhaust.

Just added some VH slip ons to my Slim and nothing else was needed. Sounds and runs great.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
If you want just sound then the slip on is good enough. No need to change air filter or add a tuner.BUT,if sound and performance is what you want, you are going to need a different header or remove your catalytic converter,a bigger air filter and when you have done these, you are going to need that tuner.

Thanks! I absolutely love the Slim, especially now that it doesn't sounds like a lawn mower anymore!

1 Memphis Shades Del Rio windshield
2. Mustang Wide Tripper solo and pillion (wife loves it)
3 Vance and Hines Twin Slashes

Thanks HDogg... My cat was in the muffler so it's gone. I most likely will go with a tuner and air filter in the near future. Leaning towards Vance and Hines VO2 filter and fuelpak.
