Why did you ask if you have made up your mind?This is Harley Forum so Harley is gonna be MY bike of choice.If ya have to ask,then ya don't get WHY we own a Harley!I ain't hatin' but Harley was always MY choice no questions asked.I don't even wanna address break down ,I haven't had any serious ever with any of my Harleys in many many years ,proper maintenance is the key,enough said happy riding!

Thanks Dave, I was searching for info and advice. The reason I asked here, knowing it was a Harley group, was I had heard that HD's were the F.O.R.D of the motorcycle world.
From what I have been reading around here is that its just not true. The costs in wrenching are maily from upgrades and mods. Keeping it serviced properly isnt an issue, Im religious about such things.
But, yeah I think I have made up my mind, and I'm going to pick up a FLSTCI from Muncie, Indiana as soon as the check gets here. (At least I'm hoping I get the check)
