hi all,

i am a brand new rider, had my license for about 60 days now, and had my first harley for about 59 days!

got a sportser xl883, and although it has been great to learn on, i'm definitely ready for an upgrade to a 1200 as my longer term bike (looking at a nightster or a 48 - any/all opinions welcome).

anyway just wanted to introduce myself, see ya'll around the forum!

Welcome from Southern New Jersey. I think you should test drive a Dyna before you buy another sporty.

3illy - thanks for the suggestion...Sportsters seem to be the most cost effective way to get into the Harley world, so I never even considered any of the other models. will check out the Dyna for sure though! if you're still monitoring this thread, what do you like about the Dyna's vs the Sportsters?

cheers,
steve
