Hello from TX
I just picked a 2007 Softail Deluxe and I am extremely excited!! I have been looking at these bikes for years as I just love the fat fenders with the fat whitewalls. One popped up locally so I quickly snagged it
I am delighted that it is fuel injected as they seem to run so good hot or cold and the fact that I won't be rebuilding any more multi-carburetors.
The really like the way Harley's have power down low and it is feels great just to ride it easy. And the sound of that motor is way cool!!
This is my first Harley and I hope to find a lot of help here. I'm going to need it.
Thanks!

Welcome from San Antonio.
I ordered my 2007 Softail Standard in 2006 while deployed to Kuwait. Is my second Harley after having a Sportster since 2001, which I still keep.
Let me know when you are in the area.

NW Houston is a nice location to ride out of town from. I used to live in Sugar Land and always rode out westward, lots of nice safe rural roads. I will have to find some nice bike rides from the coast. I'm not a fan of I45 during rush hour.

This is my first Harley also. I should have started with a Harley as I could have saved a lot of money in the long run. If I get out that way I'll give you a holler.
Thanks,
Randy
