New HD rider from SC
it's been nearly 25yrs since I even owned a bike, rice burners (gasp!!!). Although I did briefly own a 75th Anniv Edition Glide back around '80. Always promised myself if I ever had another bike, it would be a HD Sportser. Well, three weeks ago today, that dream became reality as I purchased a 1997 XL1200 Custom. Being somewhat an internet geek, joining a forum seems natural, lol. Actually surprised with the "participation" level on these forums. Def not the public perception of HD riders, to be sitting behind a keyboard and monitor! lol
Anyways, glad to be here, maybe the knowledge here will save me some embarrassment. I'm just an old fart in the midst of a mid-life crisis!
