New Harley Owner - 1st motorcycle ever!
Hi- so excited my husband and I got our first motorcycles - we both got 2013 Softail Heritages - took the riders safety course now just need more and more riding experience. Anyone in the Seattle area that likes to mentor we would love to meet you - happy riding!

use red line shockproof gear lube in the tranny, (immediately) and spectro,r/l 20x50 or 20x60 wt. oil, or ams oil in the engine.
syn 3 is WWWAAAAYYY too thin of a lubricant for a transmission.
i like dimpledrainmagnets.com for replacement drain plugs. etc. their magnetswill pick-up a wrench. the OEM are worthless, as far a a magnet.
