Just finished Riders Edge/picking up bike
Riders Edge was great, once I got over my initial anxiety and relaxed I was having a blast. Tired as hell at the end of the day, but totally worth it.
Tomorrow I pick up my bike at the dealership, and truthfully I am nervous as hell about driving it home. It is only a 15 minute drive on side streets and not taking the interstate. As a worst case scenario if I cannot find a ride to the dealership, will they be able to deliver the bike to me?
So, I guess this is a two parter. Feeling slightly nervous about riding home, and delivery as an option.

Good On You
You are starting out right by taking the riders safety course first. Go pick up the bike and enjoy the ride back home or better yet take a long way home! Never ever for a moment get "used" to riding, for it will be at that moment the bike jumps out and gets you! Now go have a blast!

Don't know about yours but the dealership I worked for would deliver bikes and a lot farther than 15 minutes away. We delivered all over the state. Would even go out of state if several bikes were involved. Best to call your dealership and ask.
The Rider's Edge is a good course but there's quite a difference between Buell Blasts(that's what we used on our RE course) and a full size, heavier motorcycle.

Welcome to the Forum.
Congrats on taking the RE course. Great decision.
I'd ride that baby home, carefully. Others are right - big difference from the Buell Blast, but you've got to ride it sometime. What better time than when it's first yours??
