Hey everyone I wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Donnie but everyone just calls me Bear ( I think I am kind of small to be called bear but hey it is what it is right ) I am looking at getting my first Harley around December. I cannot decide between the street glide or the wide glide, I love the feel of the forward controls on the wide glide but I definitely like all the extras on the street glide like the radio and such. Any comments or suggestions would be welcomed a bunch.

Bike selection is a very personal choice. You will get tons of varying opinions here. The decision is yours alone to make and you should base it on how it feels to you. IMO the most important thing is being comfortable on the bike - you can handle it and you feel safe on it. The other aspect is your taste in extras - again, a personal choice.
Good luck making your decision.
