It's such a sad day. Last night I had to put down my dog Bubba. 13 years ago my wife decided she wanted a black Miniature Schnauzer. When she went to pick one out there were only two left. She didn't have the heart to break them up so she got both. Bubba & Betsy have been inseparable ever since. But Bubba was special. He loved everyone. And every single person he met loved him. I have had many pets in my lifetime but Bubba was a one of a kind. I know I'll never has a dog like him again. He was a blessing.
The last few months he suffered from cancer until he just couldn't go anymore. Last night I put him to rest. I miss my buddy so much now. We were so lucky to have him in our family.

I understand the feeling. After having a pet for such a long time it becomes just like a family member. Take strength from the knowledge that at least Bubba does not suffer anymore.
