Hi everyone,

I've been reading around this forum for a while, but now that it looks like I may be a HD owner soon, I decided to join up.

Anyways, you'll be seeing me around

Welcome. You may be surprised to see that many of us started on metrics, and are friendly. What do you ride now, and what kind of bike are you looking for?

Welcome. Rode my Honda to the dealership last year just to "keep my eye on the prize" until spring... Rode home the next day with a new king.

Welcome to the forum. Good folks and info here. Don't pick on the metric stuff though...I have a honda in the garage also, looks and drives like it's new and I HAVE NEVER SPENT ANYWAY NEAR WHAT I HAVE FOR MY HD FOR "MAINTENANCE"...AND NEVER BEEN LEFT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, ON TRIPS...Every once ion a while, my wife bugs me to sell my Honda, not happening, I'll leave it to the kids/grandkids...
I truly wish my HD was as carefree to own as my Honda...

I have a 2006 102ci Yamaha with 31500 on it sitting in the garage. First Harley (2010) ended up with 14999 miles on it when I traded it for a newer geezer glide. In for 5000 mile service right now. Can't brain myself to sell her....just like an old girlfriend...familiar and fun to ride once in awhile. Lots start on metrics. Good way to start out if $$$ are a problem. However, I really love my FLHTK. Good luck picking one out. So many choices.
