New member, still riding Japanese Crap (for now...)

Thanks for the love guys! I use the term "Jap Crap" with tongue-in-cheek; my 2005 Road Star Warrior NEVER let me down!
For me though, I always loved "Hardly Able-sons" (another one of my terms of endearments) and am now in a reasonable financial situation to get one!
I've got my eye on the non-CVO Breakout, kinda reminds me of the Warrior I presently ride, except a s#itload cooler!
Here's a pic of me ascending Mt Washington in NH.

Welcome to the forum Edders. I too came from a history of metric rides (Honda), so as you can see you're not alone here.
That Warrior is no joke...an ex-girlfriend had one and I'd put that beast up against anything in it's class in a second. Light, nimble and full of power. Though, the way it started up worried me every time. It cranked so slow it seemed like the battery was almost dead. I think I read somewhere that it was common with that year...
Anyway, good luck with your search and enjoy the new ride once you do get it.

Welcome. Many of us have multiple types of bikes and understand that you don't have to feel ashamed of having a metric. You probably had a lot of fun riding your other bikes and should not discount that part of your journey.
