Default monkeyball on the loose!

Hey all,

New to the forum but no stranger to the community. Grew up around Harleys and have finally managed to land a sweet ride. '03 fatboy, screamin eagle kit, two to one thunder headers, holly carb, baker six speed, lots of stuff I have yet to discover. The bike belonged to a cousin of mine, he passed and it went on to my dad. The old man has suffered several strokes and now the bike has been handed down to me. Despite the circumstances, I'm not only proud but honored to have the bike. It not only carries some history of our family, but the bike itself speaks of each rider before me. Now a little about the newest rider...

I purchased a '99 ultima fat bastard custom about two years ago but never completed the bike. It had a 113 s&s with a baker six speed and a list a mile long of custom parts and whatnot. Although I had big plans for this bike, they never became a reality. I work on the road and couldn't figure out how to build it in my camper and then get it out the door in one piece. I'm sure my mother is happy about that. I've had several small bikes, rice burners, barn bikes, cow patty specials, but the ultima was my first "real" bike. When the old man got sick he asked me if I wanted to buy the fatboy but I had my heart set on building my custom. A few months later he called me up and asked about a trade. After I finished laughing he assured me he was serious. Now I am less one custom basket case and the proud owner of some real American iron. The bike is big, heavy, fast and loud. I'm sure my mother is not pleased about the fast part but she can't preach to me, she's logged more miles on the fender of a Harley than most sissy bars in existence. I haven't ridden in about two years and this bike is a monster, so it's like starting all over. That being said, I'll post some pics of my scoot and welcome any "sound" advice offered. I use that term loosely, of course.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to spending countless hours of my work day pilfering posts and killing the battery on my phone.
