Should I buy a Harley?
#21
I just bought my first bike, it is a 2003 pre-owned Harley "Night Train". So far no regrets. The dealership treated me like gold! They were and still are super friendly and helpful. I am glad I waited and got the Harley. I was financed thru the dealership and it went great and I too have a blemished credit history. Good luke, get a Harley and enjoy!

Understand, happens. Just remember everything is negotiable, even bank rates. You may be able to bring it down the interest point to two and remember to tell them how much down your putting and that makes it less risky to them. Enjoy the ride!

The Sportster went to a rubber mounted engine in 2004, making it a better highway bike. For 5k you should be able to get a 1200 , with under 10k that will be more reliable, and save you money in the long run.
If the bike you're looking at is nice, I bet they would take $3,800.

If you've already formed an opinion on what you've heard then don't buy one. If you want to form your own opinion, buy one.
What kind of an answer do you expect to get on a Harley sight? Don't buy it, A Honda GW is better?

............if you are asking then it sounds like your heart is wanting a Harley.I am 48 and just got my first one.Mine is a 87 fxlr low rider custom (with a lot of miles, and I am an auto mechanic....I do not mind doing some repairs)
It is different than any other bikes I have owned...........it is really growing on me.
.Good luck with your purchase.

buy what you want, of course dealer will sell you a bike, they just want to move inventory ask them for the best deal they will always move on price, buy a harley of course, buy a harley no way, choice is yours. buy rebuilt with receipts, take a friend knowledgable in harley to an auction, many many choices
