Default New user looking for advice on my first bike

New here and I'm looking for some advice on a first real bike.

As for a little history, I started on a Honda XR100 and moved up to a CRF230F. I rode for around 6-7 years, so I know how to ride.

Now, I'm looking for a big boy bike. I've looked around a little bit and have some interest in the Dyna Super Glides, with a particular interest in the FXDX.

My first question is that since they haven't made an FXDX since 2005, would I be better off buying something newer such as an FXDC?

My second question is that if I wanted to ride some country roads with my dad, who's got a Road Glide, would a Super Glide be able to keep up?

I'd appreciate any help

welcome to the forum. Ive heard good thinks about fxdx. As far as your dad keeping up with the dyna, you might have to slow up for him, but he shouldnt be too far behind.

Dyna won't have any problem keeping up. Find a year you are comfortable getting in the game at. There are alot of good looking garage queen Dynas out there for sale. You will find one and wham your in love!!
